In this stunning re-interpretation of Euripdes' classic, Fiona Shaw and Deborah Warner present a Medea relevant to today's world. The production was created at the Abby Theatre of Dublin and originally presented in New York at the Brooklyn Academy of Music before its critically acclaimed Broadway run. Set upon a contemporary mansion of glass and cement caught mid-construction, this production comments upon the culture of celebrity while at the same time giving us a Medea with whom we can all too easily identify with.
