Jane Cox

Jane Cox has designed lighting for True Love Productions for True Love and Everything Will Be Different, and she is currently working on Rocket to the Moon . Other recent designs in New York include Dame Edna – Back With a Vengeance on Broadway, Lost Objects for Bang on a Can at the BAM Opera House and Memory House at Playwrights Horizons. She has also designed for the Vineyard, Signature, NYSF/Public, CSC, Guthrie, Arena Stage, McCarter, CenterStage, National Theatre in London and the Project Theatre in Dublin among others. Dance design includes long term collaborations with Doug Varone, David Dorfman and Monica Bill Barnes. She was awarded an NEA/TCG career development grant 2001-3 and is currently a recipient of a MAP/Rockefeller grant with Christine Jones and Rob Reddy for their project The Hearing Booths. Jane grew up in Dublin, Ireland and received her M.F.A. from NYU.
